Multi-talented puppeteer and political satirist Paul guild wars gold Zaloom returns to In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre (HOBT) as part of the theater’s Fall 2008 Visiting Artists Series, co-sponsored with the Twin Cities Puppeteers Guild. Paul Zaloom’s highly idiosyncratic work takes a wide range of forms, from the popular, qui guild wars gold rky and educational Beakman’s World for children, to insightful and wickedly funny political satire for adult audiences.

The Twin Cities will get a chance to sample both in his visit with two different performances. On October 24, for adults, Paul Zaloom and his cohort, the renowned nightclub puppeteer Lynn Jeffries, will perform “The Tiny Jumbo Jolly Grim Show,” which includes t gw gold heir newest work of jumbo toy theater, “The Abecedarium A to Z.” Zaloom’s bawdy gender-bending take on the old Punch and Judy shtick rounds out an evening of funny and irreverent adult puppet theater which questions, well, just about everything.

Adult subject matter; not recommended for those under age 18. And on October 25, for kids, “Beakman LIVE!,” a live stage spectacle based on the Emmy award-winning children’s TV show “Beakman’s World,” is reprised. Beakman (Paul Zaloom) dazzles and amazes with a series of death-defying and belief-suspending demonstrations of intriguing scientific principles.
